Terry graduated from The University of Queensland in 1972 and ran his own country practice for several years. He has worked as resident veterinarian on some of Australia’s biggest thoroughbred studs including 7 years at Arrowfield Stud. Terry has worked for a total of 8 years at Melbourne University as principal lecturer and clinician in equine reproduction. Terry won the Peter Irwin Literary Award for best publication in the Australia Equine Veterinary Journal in 1997 and again in 2006. In 2006 Terry was awarded the prestigious Australian Equine Veterinarians Provet award for significant contribution to the equine veterinary profession. He has worked in equine practice in USA, New Zealand, Turkey, UAE and Canada. Terry brings a wealth of practical expertise to S & S Vets after retiring from the Avenel Equine Clinic.
