Walk On Requirements – Season 2011

Breeding times at Chatswood Stud are as follows (unless otherwise notified):

6am (stabling may be available the night prior to a 6am covering)

Please note that the following procedures must be adhered to for all walk on mares at Chatswood Stud.

1. A signed and completed Stallion Service Agreement must to be received prior to first cover;

2. A Document of Description (DOD) must be presented or a copy of the DOD faxed to the office prior to the first cover;

3. A clean clitoral swab 48 hours prior to the first cover which is negative for Pseudomonas and Klebsiella;

4. All swab results are to be faxed to the office prior to the first cover. NO preliminary results will be accepted;

5. In order to achieve the best results for all parties involved, please notify the office at least 24 hours prior to the preferred breeding session;

6. Please notify the Stud at your earliest convenience if lateness is a possibility;

7. Please notify Chatswood of both early and 45 day scan results;

8. If the Mare is empty at the end of the season a barren certificate is required. Otherwise the Mare is presumed in foal and the Mare Owner will be invoiced accordingly.
